Before any domestic or commercial upholstery cleaning is undertaken an inspection of the suite or sofa is very important, as there are so many different sizes and types of fabrics on the market.

Some upholstery fabrics can be water or chemical sensitive this is one reason why an inspection is required.

The survey inspection also allows me to inspect the suite to identify the fabric type, look for any stains that maybe a potential problem and to give the customer an accurate quotation

The furniture is then placed onto the tarpaulin and given a thorough pre-vacuum.

Depending on the fabric type the cleaning chemical or solution are pre-sprayed onto the fabric and allowed to dwell, using a specialist upholstery brush the solution is worked into the fabric breaking the soil bond.

Clean white terry towels are used to remove any excess moisture and our turbo drying systems reduced the drying times considerably.

I always state to allow at least 24 hours for the suite to completely dry out prior to use, even though most or almost dry or lightly damp when I leave.
